Boyfriend arrested for choking girlfriend
On 10-10-20 around 7pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the
2700 block of James Rd. ref. a disturbance.
Deputies discovered Dakota Carl Tallent (31
yoa) allegedly choked his 29-year-old
girlfriend during an argument they were
having.
The victim was not seriously injured during
the incident.
Tallent was arrested and charged with
Family Violence Assault/Choking (felony 3-
bond $10,000) and Interfering with a 911
Call (class A misd-bond $2,500).
Tallent is currently out of jail on bond at
press time.
