Body Recovered From Lake Granbury

Body Recovered From Lake Granbury

On 8-16-19 around 540pm, the body of
missing person/ missing boater Oscar
Monjaras Robledo (36 yoa) was recovered
from Lake Granbury by first responders.
Robledo’s body was located near the area
his boat was located this morning, approx.
60 feet from shore.
The family has been notified of his recovery
and his body will be sent to the Tarrant
County Medical Examiner’s Office where an
autopsy will be performed.

At this time there is no evidence showing
foul play and appears to be an accidental
drowning.
Multiple agencies were involved in this
recovery and are as follows:
Hood County Sheriff’s Office
Hood County Fire Marshal’s Office
Northern Hood County Fire Department
DCBE Fire Department
Tolar Fire Department
Granbury Fire Department
Brazos River Authority Lake Rangers
Texas Game Wardens

Indian Harbor Fire Department

Pecan Plantation Fire Department

McLennan County Sheriff’s Office supplied
air support with a helicopter
