ATV vs Car Accident Sends 1 To Fort Worth Hospital Via Air Evac

Granbury– On Saturday September 01, 2018 the Texas Highway Patrol was notified of a crash involving a 4 wheel all terrain vehicle and a Nissan Sentra in the 700 block  of Sunset Acres Court in Hood County. Upon arrival the Trooper found that a Honda Rincon 4 wheeler driven by David Hernandez, 17 of Grranbury,  attempted to make a right turn out of a private drive and struck a Nissan Sentra, operated by Rachel Hansen, 33 of Granbury that was traveling south on Sunset Acres Court. The Honda 4 wheeler struck the Nissan sentra on the front left side with the front left side of the Honda. David Hernandez was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth by Air Ambulance with internal injuries. Hernandez was not wearing a helmet . There were no injuries in the Nissan Sentra. A citation was issued for Operate an all terrain vehicle on a public roadway.
