Alcohol Sting Nets Four Clerks
On 10-11-19 Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and TABC Agents conducted alcohol stings with fifty-two convenience stores in Hood County. During the operation, young people between 18 and 20 years of age were sent into the convenience stores attempting to purchase alcohol with their lawful identification showing they were not 21 years of age. Out of fifty-two stores, only four clerks sold alcohol to minors. The four clerks were arrested and charged with Selling Alcohol to a Minor (class A misd-bond $2,500).
