shotgun and was threatening to harm
himself.

Vanlandingham never threatened any
Officers during the standoff.
Vanlandingham was charged with Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle (felony 3-bond $10,000) and Felony Possession of a Firearm (felony 3-bond $10,000).

“Dealing with suicidal people is a very dangerous call for my Deputies. They were very professional and were able to take Vanlandingham into custody without anyone getting hurt, so I’m very proud of my Deputies. I also appreciate the DPS Troopers and Granbury PD Officers for helping out during the standoff.” – Sheriff Roger Deeds
