Johnson County Police Chase Briefly Enters Hood County

This afternoon, Johnson County Deputies began a vehicle pursuit with 19 year old Rickey Hart.
Johnson County Sheriff Adam King informed us that the chase briefly crossed the Hood County line, along with Johnson, Parker & Tarrant Counties.

No Hood County Deputies were involved in the pursuit, confirmed by CID Lt. Johnny Rose.

After the multi-county pursuit, Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputies disabled Hart’s vehicle with spike strips. Hart then gave a brief foot chase near 171 before being arrested by Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputies.

Hart had 2 previous Class C warrants and now picks up an evading arrest charge.

There were no reported injuries from this chase.
