Nicholas Riggs located and arrested
On 6-16-22 around 730pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Hood County Street Crimes Unit, Granbury PD, Somervell County Sheriff’s Office, US Marshal’s Officers, all part of the Region 8 Special Operations Group Swat Team responded to the 800 block of Jupiter Ave acting on a Crimestoppers tip that came in with the location of Nicolas Riggs.
Officers searched the property and located Riggs hiding in an unplugged freezer behind the house trailer on Jupiter.
Riggs was taken into custody and had to be treated by paramedics for heat exhaustion at the scene.
Riggs was transported to the Hood County Sheriff’s Office Jail and will face multiple charges for running from Deputies on 6-14- 22.
