Two Suspects in Custody Over Stabbing

On 12-3-21 around 9am, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a stabbing victim call at the Lake Granbury medical Center.
The Deputies discovered a 36-year-old male with severe stab wounds on his neck area.
The victim was air-lifted to JPS in Ft. Worth and is now listed as “stable condition” as of press time.
Charles Michael Anthony Seely (29 yoa) and Candace Victoria Sheffield (36 yoa) were arrested in connection with the alleged stabbing on 12-7-21.

Both are charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (felony 2-bond not set).
The case is still under investigation by the Hood County Sheriff’s Office Investigators and a motive for the assault has not been determined.
Both suspects are currently in jail at press time awaiting bond arraignment.
