Boyfriend Arrested for Family Violence

On 12-2-21 around 930am, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 2800 block of James Rd. ref. a disturbance.
Deputies discovered Christopher Alan Nichols (36 yoa) allegedly assaulted his 40- year-old girlfriend during an argument and prevented her from leaving a bedroom.
The victim was not seriously injured during the incident.
Nichols was arrested and charged with Family Violence Assault with a Previous Conviction (felony 3-bond $10,000) and Unlawful Restraint (class A misd-bond $2,500).
Nichols is currently in jail at press time.
