Boyfriend arrested for Aggravated Assault
On 12-1-21 around 7pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 8000 block of Glen Rose Hwy. ref. a disturbance.
Deputies discovered James Roger Shackelford (57 yoa) allegedly pointed a 357-magnum pistol at his 50-year-old girlfriend during an argument.
No one was injured during the incident.
Shackelford was arrested and charged with Family Violence Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (felony 1-bond $75,000).

Shackelford is currently in jail at press time.
