Traffic Stop Nets ID Theft Suspect

On 9-6-21 around 430pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the 2200 block of Morgan St.
During the stop James Craig Alliston (62 yoa) was found to be in possession of multiple credit cards and identifying information without the owner’s permission.
Alliston was arrested and charged with Fraudulent Possession of Identifying Information (felony 2-bond $100,000) and Fraudulent Possession of Credit Cards (felony 3-bond $50,000).
