24 Grams Of Meth Seized From Wanted Tarrant Co Man

On Monday, March 6th around 3:30pm Hood County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit and the Texas Attorney General’s Office Crime Task Force arrested 41 year old Dell Everette Burkeen II, who was wanted out of Tarrant County and Cleburne PD on multiple warrants.
Burkeen was located at the 6200 block of Bighorn Dr. where he ran from officers on foot.
Burkeen was captured after a short foot
chase. He resisted arrest and gave a false name to officers.
A search warrant was conducted at his
residence. 24 grams of meth and under
2oz of marijuana were discovered.
Burkeen was charged with Man/Del of a
Controlled Substance (felony 1-bond
$25,000), Failed to Identify (class A misd-bond $2,500), Resisting Arrest (class A misd-bond $3,000), Evading Arrest (class A misd-bond $3,000), and Possession of Marijuana (class B misd-bond $1,000).
Burkeen’s list of warrants are as follows:
Man/Del of a Controlled Substance (felony 1) Tarrant County, Theft (class B misd) Tarrant County Evading Arrest (class A misd) x2 Cleburne PD Resisting Arrest (class A misd) Cleburne PD.
Burkeen is currently in jail at press time.
