Boyfriend arrested for family violence
On 7-22-21 around 930pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a disturbance at the 3900 block of Country Meadows Rd.
Deputies discovered Jim Tom Gowin (45 yoa) had assaulted his 46-year-old girlfriend during an argument they were having.
The victim was not seriously injured during the incident.
Gowin was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence with Previous Conviction (felony 3-bond $10,000). Gowin is currently out of jail on bond jail at press time.
