Suspect arrested on family violence
On 4-12-21 around 830pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 3200 block of West Weems Ct. ref a disturbance.
Deputies discovered Mark Elton Myers (60 yoa) allegedly struck his 44-year-old girlfriend in the throat with a PVC pipe.
The victim was air-lifted to JPS for treatment and later released in fair condition.
Myers was arrested and charged with Family Violence Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (felony 1-bond $60,000). Myers is currently out of jail on bond at press time.
