17 Year Old Charged with Multiple Felonies Following Evidence Tampering

On Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at approximately 8:30pm,

Hood County Sherriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop at 377 and Temple Hall Hwy. During the stop, 17 year old Chloe Nicole Cobler was found in possession of under a gram of cocaine. While being transported to jail, Cobler attempted to hide several capsules of cocaine in the back seat of the patrol car. She was then found to be hiding even more capsules on her person, during the booking process.

Cobler was charged with:
Possession of a Controlled Substance (State jail felony. Bond $5,000).
Tampering with Evidence (Felony-3. Bond $10,000).
Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility (Felony-3. Bond $10,000).

Cobler is currently out of jail on bond, at press time.
