Traffic stop yields drugs and firearm
On 7-10-20 around 9pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic
stop at the 1200 block of James Rd.
During the stop Robert Vincent Trestain (34
yoa) was found to be in possession of 3
grams of meth, under a gram of LSD, and a
40-cal. handgun.
Trestain was arrested and charged with
Possession of a Controlled Substance
(felony 3-bond $10,000), Possession of a
Controlled Substance (state jail felony-bond
$5,000), and Unlawful Carrying of a
Weapon (class A misd-bond $2,500).

Trestain is currently out of jail on bond at
press time.
