Kidnapping Case Filed on Suspect
On 2-10-20 Robert Jay Shipman (34 yoa)
was arrested on 2 felony warrants for
Aggravated Kidnapping (felony 1-bond
$50,000) and Aggravated Assault (felony 2-
bond $20,000)
The charges stem from a report filed on 2-2-
20 where Shipman allegedly kidnapped his
40-year-old girlfriend from Hood County
and took her to Oklahoma.
The victim was assaulted multiple times
during the incident and has several
fractures to her face that will require
surgery to correct the issue.
