Husband Arrested for Aggravated Assault

On 1-29-20 around 5pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Russell
Wayne McDaniel (56 yoa) on an Aggravated
Assault with a Deadly Weapon warrant
(felony 2-bond $50,000) at the 800 block of
Ports O Call Dr.
The charge stems from an incident on 1-27-
20 where he threatened his wife (53 yoa)
with a knife during an argument and fled
the scene before Deputies could arrest him.
The victim was not seriously injured during
the incident.
McDaniel is currently in jail at press time.
