Suspect Arrested for Aggravated Assault
On 1-19-20 around 11:30pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 3600 block of Greenbrook St. in reference to a disturbance in progress.
Deputies discovered Jesus Alberto Torres (23 yoa) had assaulted three different people during an argument. Torres allegedly used a pipe as a weapon and assaulted two females, 15 and 16 years of age, along with an 18 year old male. None of the victim’s were seriously injured during the incident.
Torres was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (felony 2-bond $15,000) and Assault (class A misd-bond $3,500). Torres is currently in jail at press time.
