Drug Investigation Leads To Arrest; Multiple Drug Charges

Drug dealer arrested by Street Crimes Unit
On Sunday, February 19th around 1am, the Hood County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit conducted a drug investigation which led to the arrest of
26 year old Kelvin Lavon Brown.

 Brown was found to be in possession of 10 grams of meth, over 10 grams of heroin, under 2 ounces of marijuana, and a 9mm pistol.

Brown’s charges consist of Delivery/manufacturing of a Controlled
Substance (felony 1-bond $50,000),
Delivery/Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance (felony 1-bond $50,000), Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon (class A misd-bond $2,000),
Possession of Marijuana (class B misd-bond $1,000), and DWLI (class B misd bond $1,000).

Brown is in Hood County Jail at Press time.
