Felony Warrants Lead To Felony Evading

On 7-16-19 around 1pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies were at the 4700
block of Milburn Rd. to serve felony
warrants on Nickolas William Curtis (30
yoa).
Curtis saw the Deputies and fled on foot to
a home at the 4200 block of Edinburgh Dr.
After a short standoff, Curtis surrendered to
Deputies without incident.
Curtis was arrested and charged with
Evading Arrest with Previous Conviction
(state jail felony-bond $5,000).

Curtis had 3 felony warrants, Man/Del of a
Controlled Substance (felony 1-no bond),
Possession of a Controlled Substance
(felony 2-no bond), and Forgery (felony 3-
no bond).
Curtis is currently in jail at press time.
