Robbery at Local Convenience Store

On 6-20-19 around 10pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a
robbery call at the 1700 block of South
Morgan St.
Deputies were told by the store clerk a male
wearing a mesh mask and dark clothing
came in the store demanding money.
The clerk handed over an undetermined
amount of cash from the register to the
suspect.
The suspect then fled on foot from the
store. No other information available at press time.

The clerk, Rickey Dale Hart II (21 yoa) had a
felony warrant out of Johnson County for
Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle (felony 3-
no bond) and was in possession of under a
gram of meth.
Hart was charged with Possession of a
Controlled Substance (state jail felony-bond
$5,000).
The robbery is under investigation by the
Hood County Sheriff’s Office Investigators,
