Woman Assaults Deputy On Call

On 6-6-19 around 11am, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a
suspicious person call (woman screaming
and yelling) at the 3700 block of
Shadowood St.
When Deputies arrived, the female
identified as Lauren Elizabeth Brannan (33
yoa) began to fight with Deputies.
Brannan struck a Deputy in the face with
her closed fist during the scuffle.
The Deputy was not seriously injured and
was able to place Brannan in handcuffs.

Brannan is charged with Assault on a Peace
Officer (felony 2-no bond) and Resisting
Arrest (class A misd-bond $3,000).
Brannan is currently in jail at press time.
