STARS Student Post Threat on Social Media
On 3-9-19 around 1230pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies received a call of a
17-year-old female that attends the STARS
Academy Campus with GISD had posted a
video stating she was the next school
shooter.
Sierra Noel Mendoza (17 yoa) was arrested
and charged with Exhibition, Threat, or Use
of Firearms (class A misd) and placed in the
Hood County Sheriff’s Office Jail.
Mendoza, who is considered an adult under
criminal law at age 17, is currently out of jail
on bond.
