GMS Student Post Threat on Social Media

On 3-1-19 around 630pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies received a call that
a 12-year-old male that attends school at
the Granbury Middle School had posted a
video stating he was the next school
shooter.
The juvenile was arrested and charged with
Exhibition, Threat, or Use of Firearms (class
A misd).
The juvenile was placed in the Hood County
Juvenile Detention Center and will see a
Judge most likely Monday to determine his
stay at the detention center.

Quote from Sheriff Roger Deeds;
“We take these types of cases seriously and
I hope the youth of Hood County consider
that when they think about posting threats
on social media. We will take action to
protect the youth of Hood County.”
