Credit Card Abuse Suspect in Jail

On 2-23-19 a DPS Trooper conducted a
traffic stop on Hwy 377 on Catherine Miller
Underwood (47 yoa) and arrested her for
Possession of a Controlled Substance (state
jail felony-bond $5,000).
Underwood had 5 felony warrants for fraud
filed by the Hood County Sheriff’s Office
Investigators.
4 counts of Credit Card Abuse (state jail
felony-bond $5,000 each) and 1 count of
Forgery (state jail felony-bond $5,000).
The charges stem from Underwood
allegedly using several people’s identifying information without their permission, at
multiple stores in Hood County involving
credit cards and checks in January through
March of 2018.

Underwood is currently in jail at press time.
