A Series of Events keep Deputies Busy
On 2-18-19 around 3pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a
theft call at the 200 block of Cardinal Ct.
where two males tried to steal a gas can.
While Deputies were responding, a second
call came in of a Toyota SUV driving reckless
in the Whippoorwill Bay area.
Then a third call came in of a car accident at
the 400 block of Pigeon Ct. involving the
Toyota SUV driven by the two suspects.
The two male suspects fled on foot at the
scene of the car accident. DPS Troopers worked the scene of the car accident.
The search of the area led to the capture of
Clifton Brice Miser (29 yoa), who was
arrested on a parole warrant and was
placed in the Hood County Jail.
The search continued for the second
suspect, but he was never located.
The Toyota SUV was found to be stolen out
of Ft. Worth PD and was towed to the Hood
County Sheriff’s Office Impound.
The case is still under investigation by the
Hood County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Highway Patrol and Ft. Worth PD with charges pending.
