Traffic Stop Yields Tampering With Evidence Charge

On 2-13-19 around 8pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic
stop at the 5900 block of Will Walters Rd.
During the stop William Mack Wink (57 yoa)
is accused of tossing a bag of marijuana
(under 2oz) in the bar ditch, attempting to
hide it from Deputies.
Wink was arrested and charged with
Tampering with Evidence (felony 3-bond
$10,000) and Possession of Marijuana (class
B misd-bond $1,500).
Wink is out of jail on bond at press time.
