Arrest Made in Fatal Crash Mambrino Highway

On Thursday February 14, 2019 two arrest warrants were issued for Stephen Pengelly, 40 of Granbury. Pengelly was the driver of a 2015 Hyundai Sonata that was involved in a crash on Wednesday January 30, 2019, on FM 3210, where Morgan Lindsey Quarles, 32 year old from Granbury was killed. Her husband Jordan Smith 32 was seriously injured. Pengelly was arrested this morning and placed into the Hood County Jail  for Intoxication Manslaughter, a second degree Felony , it is punishable from 2 – 10 years in prison and can carry a maximum fine of  $ 10,000.  And Intoxication Assault, a third degree felony, It is punishable from 2 – 10 years in prison and can carry a maximum fine of $10,000.
