Boyfriend Chokes Girlfriend During Argument
On 2-8-19 around 8am, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the
800 block of Pawnee Trail ref. a
disturbance.
Deputies discovered Joseph Wayne Richt
(45 yoa) allegedly choked and threatened
his 42-year-old girlfriend with a knife,
during a disturbance.
The victim was not seriously injured during
the incident.
Richt was arrested and charged with
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
(felony 1-bond $30,000), Family Violence Assault/Choking (felony 3-bond $15,000),
Interference with a 911 call (class A misd-
bond $2,500).
Richt is out of jail on bond at press time.
