Pecan Plantation Fire Truck Involved In One Vehicle Accident

According to Fire Marshal Ray Wilson, on Jan 9, 2019 at about 6:30 a.m. the Pecan Plantation Volunteer Fire Department had responded to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of Mambrino Elementary School. A Pecan Plantation fire truck was responding and was involved in a single vehicle accident in the 8400 block of Westover Circle. The fire truck failed to negotiate the circle and left the roadway. The fire truck struck a tree inside the circle. The driver of the fire truck was the only occupant and was uninjured. The accident was investigated by the Texas Highway Patrol.

Another fire truck from Pecan Plantation along with the Indian Harbor and Granbury Fire Departments were able to extinguish the original vehicle fire call.
