Vehicle Accident on Hwy 377 Results in Multiple Injuries

Granbury- On Tuesday December 04, 2018 at approximately 1:50 pm, the Texas Highway patrol was notified of a two vehicle crash on US 377, west of Granbury at Meadow WoodRoad in Hood County.

Upon arrival , the Troopers found that a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria driven by Stephen R. Gast, 48 of Granbury, was traveling west on US 377, and a  2003 Chevrolet Silverado Pick Up Truck , driven by Kirk G. Scott, 54 of Ft. Worth was traveling east on Us 377 approaching the Ford. Stephen Gast attempted to turn left onto Meadow wood road in front of the Chevrolet and was struck by the Chevrolet Truck. The driver of the Ford was taken by air ambulance to JPS Hospital in Ft. Worth for unknown injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet Truck was transported by ambulance to LGMC in Grranbury for treatment of his injuries. Two passengers in the Chevrolet were also injured. Mary Conley, 57 was taken to LGMC in Granbury, and Jamie Gazaway, 36 was taken by air ambulance to JPS Hospital in Ft. Worth. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.  Steven Gast was cited for Fail to Yield Right of Way –Turning left.
