Wanted Suspect Flees From Officer

On 11-28-18 around 1130am, a Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputy located Ralph Edward Byrne II (24 yoa), who had a felony warrant for his arrest at the 2600 block of Frontier Trail.

Byrne immediately fled on foot when he saw the Deputy.

After a short foot chase and a short scuffle with the Deputy, Byrne was handcuffed and taken into custody.

No one was injured during the incident.

Byrne was charged with Evading Arrest (class A misd-bond $), Resisting Arrest (class A misd-bond $), Man/Del of a Controlled Substance warrant (felony 1-bond ), and Evading Arrest warrant (clas A misd-bond $3,000).
