Head On Collision Leaves One Dead, 2 Seriously Injured

Granbury – Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at approximately 5:00 pm the Texas Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a head on collision on FM 3210 .01 E. of FM 2425.

A Kia Sol driven by Andrew Hays Ottaway, 29 of Granbury, was traveling west on FM 3210. A Chevrolet Pick Up Truck driven by Douglas Arney, 45 of Granbury was traveling east on FM 3210. For an unknown reason the Kia crossed over the center stripe and struck the Chevrolet Pick Up Truck head on.

Andrew Hays Ottoway died at the scene, his passenger, Dakota Wright, male,  24 of Granbury was taken by Air Ambulance to JPS Hospital in Ft. Worth and Douglas Arney was taken to a Ft. Worth Hospital by ground ambulance. Both with serious injuries.

Ottaway was pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Danny Tuggle.

Ottaway was taken to Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.
