Second GISD student arrested for threats

On 4-4-18 around 330pm, the Hood County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Deputy was notified by the Granbury Middle School Administration of a threat from a student.
A 14 year old male student allegedly wrote on a clipboard that he was going to shoot up the school.
The student was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threat (felony 3) and was placed in the Hood County Juvenile Detention Center, where she will see a Judge in the next 10 days.
Quote from Sheriff Deeds:
“It saddens me that we had to arrest 2
students for making threats in one day. My hope is that others will see the
consequences of their bad choices and not make the same mistakes”.
