2 Male Teens Arrested For Terroristic Threats

2 juveniles make threats on social media

On 3-1-18, Hood County Sheriff’s Office
received information of a threat posted on
social media towards Granbury High School
students.
On 3-2-18 Hood County Sheriff’s Office
Investigators arrested two 15 year old
males for Terroristic Threat (felony 3) in
connection to the threat.
Both were placed in the Juvenile Detention
Center and will have to see a Judge in the
next 10 days.

Quote from Sheriff Deeds:
“The safety and well being of the students
in Hood County is my top priority and I have
instructed my Deputies to do whatever it
takes to keep them safe. From charging into
an active shooter scene by themselves, or
taking action on a social media threat and
making an arrest. Students thinking about
posting threats will be dealt with in Hood
County”.
