Mother Arrested During Traffic Stop For Endangering Child, Possession Of Controlled Substance

On 2-28-18 around 530pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic
stop at the 5400 block of Tin Top Hwy.
During the stop Courtney Renae Coughlon
(40 yoa), who had her 11 year old daughter
with her, was found to be in possession of
under a gram of meth.
Coughlon was arrested and charged with
Possession of a Controlled Substance (state
jail felony-bond $5,000) and Endangering a
Child (state jail felony-bond $5,000).
The daughter was released to her father
who was called to the scene.
Coughlon is currently in jail at press time.
