Traffic Stop Results In Short Foot Chase And Drug Charges

Traffic stops nets multiple charges

On 12-24-17 around noon, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic
stop at the 3400 block of Mulberry Dr.
During the stop Johnathan Shane Fulton (35
yoa) was found to be in possession of 6.6
grams of meth.
Fulton resisted arrest and ran a short
distance from the Deputies before being
apprehended.
During the short foot pursuit Fulton threw
his meth in an attempt to hide the drug.

Fulton was arrested and charged with
Man/Del of a Controlled Substance (felony
1-bond $5,000), Tampering with Evidence
(felony 3-bond $10,000), Evading Arrest
(class A misd-bond $2,500), Resisting Arrest
(clas A misd-bond $2,500), and a Parole
Warrant (no bond).

Fulton is currently in jail at press time.
