Possible Drug Overdose Call Results In Drug Charges

Possible Overdose call leads to drug arrest
On 11-14-17 around, 7pm Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the
8500 block of Westover Ct. on a possible
overdose.
Jose Adan Lopez Jr. was combative with
paramedics and was not complying with
Deputies at the scene.
Lopez was found to be in possession of 30
grams of THC oil and multiple Clonazolam
and Naproxen pills.
Lopez, who refused medical treatment was
arrested and charged with Possession of a
Controlled Substance (felony 2-bond

$5,000), Possession of Dangerous Drugs
(class A misd-bond $2,500), and Evading
Detention (class A misd-bond $2,500).
Lopez is currently out of jail on bond at
press time.
