Another Major Accident On Old Granbury Road; Multiple Air Evac Response Required (Warning: Sensitive photos)

October 7, 2017- At approximately 6:49PM, an accident occurred at the intersection of Old Granbury Road and Temple Hall Hwy between a 2015 Hyundai Sonata and a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban.

The Sonata, driven by 33 year old Bradley Patterson and a passenger, 43 year old Armondo Chavez, both of Corrolton. The vehicle was travelling Northbound on Temple Hall Hwy when he failed to yield to right of way when making a left turn on to Old Granbury Rd.

The Suburban, travelling Southbound down Temple Hall Hwy. was driven by 53 year old Ruth Ortega of Granbury and a passenger, 65 year old Jose Ortega. Ortega’s vehicle struck Patterson’s as he turned in front of her, causing major damage to both vehicles.

Both driver and passenger of the Suburban were taken by Air Ambulance to JPS Hospital in Fort Worth, both injuries unknown. The driver and passenger of the Sonata had reported minor injuries and were not treated at the scene. 

The accident was investigated by the Texas Highway Patrol. No further information is available at this time.
