Deputies chase suspect into Tarrant Co

On Monday, October 2nd around 10pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic
stop at the 5000 block of Hwy. 377 East.
During the stop Audley Theodore Williams
(42 yoa) decided to leave before the traffic
stop was completed.
Deputies gave chase and followed Williams
all the way to the first red light in Benbrook.
Williams made a u-turn and headed back to
Hood County where his tires were spiked by
DPS Troopers at Mule Valley and Hwy. 377
East.

Speeds during the pursuit reached up to
100 miles per hour and Williams had 2 adult
females in his vehicle, one that requested
Williams let her out during the pursuit,
which he did not do.
Williams was arrested and charged with
Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle (felony
3-bond $10,000) and Unlawful Restraint/
Expose Person to Serious Bodily Injury
(felony 3-bond $10,000).
Williams also had 3 warrants out of
Oklahoma for Possession of a Controlled
Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug
Paraphernalia, and Obstructing Officer
(bond of $9,000).
Williams is currently in jail at press time.

The 2 woman were not injured during the
incident and were not charged with
anything.
