Traffic stop leads to tampering charge
On Friday September 1st around 630pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Jones St. and Rucker St. During the stop Deputies observed 18 year old Javier Diaz eat his marijuana in an attempt to hide the evidence.
Diaz was arrested and charged with
Tampering with Evidence (felony 3-bond
$10,000).
Diaz is currently out of jail on bond at press time.
