On Tuesday, July 18th, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Investigators filed Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon (felony 2-bond $20,000) on 50 year old Mario Alberto Gomez, who was already in the Hood County Jail on a Parole warrant for DWI.
The charge stems from a disturbance that occurred on 6-26-17 at the 2700 block of Lipan Hwy. During the incident, Gomez allegedly threatened his 45 year old girlfriend with a knife during an argument. The victim was not seriously injured during the incident.
Gomez is currently in jail at press time.
