4 suspects arrested for Organized Crime
On Thursday, August 3rd around 6pm, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a burglary in progress call at the 5800 block of Parkside Court.
Deputies were able to apprehend four male suspects, who had taken property without the owner’s permission.
19 year old Blake Robert Barker, 18 year old Chaney Lee Horton, 17 year old Michael Blake Walts, and an unidentified 16 year old male juvenile were all arrested and charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, a felony 1 carrying a bond of $50,000.
The juvenile was placed in the Hood County Juvenile Detention Center while the other 3 suspects are currently in the Hood County Jail at press time. The case is still under investigation by the Hood County Sheriff’s Office.
