3 Arrested on Traffic Stop in Cresson
On 1-17-18 around 10pm, Hood County
Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop near
the county line in Cresson.
During the stop under a gram of meth,
under 2oz of marijuana, and several
prescription pills without a prescription was
discovered.
The driver and 2 passengers were arrested
and charged with the following offenses.
Daryl Ray Johnson (28 yoa) was charged
with Man/Del of a Controlled Substance
(state jail felony-bond $7,500) and had 2 traffic warrants out of Crowley PD with
$543 in fines.
Brian Keith Cowart (49 yoa) was charged
with Man/Del of a Controlled Substance
(state jail felony-bond $10,000), Failed to
Identify as a Fugitive (class A misd-bond
$3,000), Possession of Marijuana (class B
misd-bond $1,500), and had 3 felony
warrants out of Johnson County for
Possession of a Controlled Substance
(felony 3-bond $40,000), Tampering with
Evidence (felony 3-bond $40,000), and
Possession of a Controlled Substance (state
jail felony -bond $30,000).
Mary Nell Davis (39 yoa) was charged with
Possession of Dangerous Drugs (class A
misd-bond $2,500).
All are currently in jail at press time.
