2 Vehicle Accident In Tolar Claims The Lives Of 2

A 2 car accident occurred at 5:50pm on Hwy 377 between Tolar and Bluff Dale, West of Campbell Road.

The first vehicle, a Grey Toyota RAV4, driven by 59 year old CaryLane B. Bogan, of De Cordova, was suspected of veering out of her lane and struck the second vehicle, a black Ford Focus, driven by 36 year old Robert Earl Buttrey Jr., of Stephenville. Both victims were pronounced dead on scene by Danny Tuggle. Multiple counties responded to the scene of this accident.

This section of 377 is still currently shut down while clean up and investigations wrap up.

According to Texas DPS Sgt. Dub Gillum, all families of the victims have been notified.

There was a possible 3rd vehicle damaged by wreck debris but not directly involved.
