2 Vehicle Accident Leaves 1 In Critical Condition

Monday November 13, 2017- This afternoon at approximately 1:23PM Officials were called to a 2 vehicle accident located just South of the Hood County line.

A black Toyota Tundra driven by 53 year old Mario R. Truiillo of Cleburne was traveling South on Highway 144. For an unknown reason, the vehicle exited its lane and veered into the Northbound lane striking 60 year old Jerry W. Pack of Stephenville, who was driving a White Western Star Truck Tractor pulling a trailer that was loaded with rock. After striking the truck and trailer, the Tundra then left the roadway, hitting a tree and a fence before coming to rest.

The driver of the Tundra, Mario Truiillo, was taken to Lake Granbury Medical Center in Critical Condition. At 3 P.M. he was flown to J.P.S. hospital in Fort Worth. His family has been notified and there is no further update on his condition as of press time.

This accident is currently under investigation by the Texas highway Patrol, Glen Rose.
