On May 10th, 2017, Hood County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested 22 year old Devin Wayne Johnson at the 3000 block of Hilltop Drive and 27 year old Jeremiah James Crippen was arrested at the 5400 block of Lake Granbury Harbor. Both men were booked into Hood County Jail and charged with aggravated Assault, a 2nd degree Felony – Bond amount of $30,000.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on January 22nd of 2016 in the Whippoorwill Bay subdivision off of Weatherford Highway. The two suspects allegedly assaulted a 22 year old male causing severe damage to the victim’s jaw. The victim has had at least one surgery to correct the damage and is doing better.

Johnson is currently in jail and Crippen has posted bail at press time.
