Public Service Announcement from the
Hood County Sheriff’s Office

Sheriff Roger Deeds would like to reassure
the public on information related to the
“Coronavirus”.
We have no reports of the virus in Hood
County.
We do have open communication with the
Center of Disease Control (CDC) and the
State of Texas Emergency Operations
Center.
When we have important information
regarding the virus and any activity related to Hood County, we will quickly get the
information out to multiple media outlets.
Until then the citizens of Hood County
should relax and continue to take
precautions, such as washing your hands
thoroughly and pay attention to your body
and it’s warning signs.

Quote from Sheriff Roger Deeds:
“Wash your hands like you just cut up a
bunch of jalapenos peppers for your
favorite addition to a meal and then you
remembered you needed to go put your
contact lenses in”.
