Public Service Announcement from the Hood County Sheriff’s Office

Effective Immediately Inmate visitation has been suspended until further notice. This suspension of visitation is in accordance with continuous orders by the Office of the Governor to insure the safety of the public. This decision was not made lightly but our focus here at the Sheriff’s Office is to insure the safety of the public, inmates and our staff. If you have scheduled a visitation you will receive an email of the cancellation. We have partnered with Global Tel Link who services our visitation and phone calls for inmates and are happy to hear that they will be providing us with two free phone calls for the inmates to use per week to contact their families. At this time we do not have a set date when these free phone calls will be provided but this program is in the works. We apologize for the inconvenience and want to thank you all for your understanding as we strive to keep Hood County safe.

Thank you

Captain Eric Turbeville
Hood County Jail Administrator
